United Services Club of Newcastle

The United Services Club is one of the oldest clubs in Australia. Formed by local WWI veterans to create friendship and comradery between returned service people, it is now a historic bar filled with personality and local history.  The club boasts the largest collection of Australian Military Memorabilia outside of Canberra.  The collection is quite unique in that much of it tells a very local story loaded with connections to Newcastle and Novocastrians.  

Lynch’s Hub is exceptionally proud to be the long trusted catering partner of the United Services Club and we are experienced in tailoring unique and memorable events for small or large functions in this unique setting.  In particular this venue lends itself to indulgent grazing tables and canapé service as your guests mingle and absorb the ambience of an old world venue frozen in time.  We love to host themed functions at the USC and some of our favourites have been speak-easy and Great Gatsby nights.
